Henry Lawson an Australian poet that was alive in the colonial period is apart of the Australian Voice. Lawson is one the few Australian poets that can be considered Australia’s “best writer”. When Henry was writing his poems he would have had an idea that one his poems he was writing would go far and be remembered for the rest of time. Henrys poems are one of the few that are not confined to our shores. His poems have been recited and studied in other countries such as England , Sweden , Scotland , Germany and the list goes on. Lawson has truly contributed to the Australian Voice by writing these poems and spreading the Voice.
